Signature 6 Days and 6 Nights

Life Changing Retreat

To reach your peak, you must first discover your depths. When we embrace adversity as our friend, we grow to levels we have never experienced before. Accelerate your personal development with Mt Jukes signature Immersion retreat, a profound and challenging reset for body and mind.

Creativity is the product of inner harmony, a delicate homeostasis constantly under siege by the realities of modern life and the false comfort of survivalist habits.

These circumstances lead to harmful or misleading self-beliefs that exhaust the body and inhibit authentic self-expression: you feel tired, stuck, directionless, depressed and apathetic.

This impeded state of being requires a seismic shift to undo. Immersion offers the ideal setting and structure to course correct, providing the rare opportunity to completely disengage from your current environment and disrupt self-destructive behaviour or patterns.

It weaves a cocoon from which you will re-emerge: recharged, reinvigorated, fully realised, and empowered while being grounded and centred.

As part of the program, Mt. Jukes Eco Retreat founder Dave Deakin will deliver this program to our retreat guests. Dave Bio _____Dave
is a firm believer that we become what we cultivate.

With this in mind, he will also lead you through wonderfully practical, Lineage-based yoga/meditation sessions, highlighting the fundamental principles of mindfulness as well as techniques to support the development of
the mind/body and nervous system connection.

The Immersion programme integrates science-based meditation techniques and Vedic wisdom to offer a holistic menu of experiences guaranteed to trigger and sustain personal growth.

Participants can expect a stunning range of yoga, Himalayan breathwork, meditation practices, sound healing, inferred saunas & swimming in a natural spring running through volcanic rocks 32 million years old—interpersonal workshops designed to recalibrate the body and cultivate stillness within the mind and create a creative mindset.

What you may not expect is the wonderful intensity of the process and its truly transformative and rewarding results.

The 6-day, 5-night journey is suitable for both dedicated beginners and advanced growth seekers alike, no matter your individual fitness level or mindset.

If you are ready to step into newfound vibrancy and learn to artfully navigate the demands of life on all fronts
with clear direction and purpose, you are ready for
our signature program.

Wonderful, relaxing stay. Beautiful, natural setting, with well tended areas. Variety of accommodation options and all beautifully appointed, professionally finished. Food provided was excellent, with quality ingredients and delicious at every meal. Complimentary bathroom organic wash etc. Bidets installation must make a great difference to the sustainability success of the enterprise. Yoga, meditation, infra-red saunas, creek dips were all very well appreciated and educational. Thank you for the retreat and all the efforts you made the weekend 💕

From the moment we arrived I could feel my body start to relax. Hard to sum up in a few words the effect 2 days/nights has had on me. The view, the incredibly comfortable bed, the shower, the bath with the salts laying back in that on the deck with the fire going was amazing! I really want to go on and on and will be to anyone who cares to listen best place ever I feel like a new person and already planning my next stay!

I booked this stay for my partner knowing full well she’d love it, I myself wasn’t sure what I’d think of it, however by the end of our stay I can honestly say this was an amazing experience that will stick with my forever! Before arriving I wasn’t sure how I’d find the food (not being a vegetarian myself) but Aune’s cooking was amazing!! Having left feeling relaxed and refreshed, this is definitely a place I’d put on my bucket list if I was visiting the Mackay region 😊 Photos below are the view from our glamping tent

What a world class place. The glamping tents are spectacular, spacious and very comfortable. Bamboo keeps your privacy for the outdoor bath. Well worth the cost. The outdoor ensuite is well designed and thought through with views to the mountain while showering - and private. The team there are very hospitable, knowledgeable friendly and make the stay very special. We will be back to this transformative, relaxing and special place.

Oh my. This resort is amazing. You can’t look away from the mountains, it is just spectacular. 4 of us ladies went to unwind and reduce our stress levels. We definitely did that. Dave organised us yoga, breath work and sound therapy - all were amazing and highly recommend. We also had a sauna and a dip in the creek and on my it was my favourite part! We went early July and the cold weather was perfect. We stayed in the glamping tents and they are well though out with everything you need including an ensuite. We also had a campfire. Food was amazing and I highly recommend. Dave continually thought about our stay and how to make it amazing and exactly what we wanted. We only wished we stayed longer. We will definitely be back and can’t wait for our next stay.

Absolutely stunning place. So many little details that makes the place very special and unique. Dave and Auna are lovely and kind people and you can see the love they put into this place. I was part of the day retreat and it was the perfect day. Starting with traditional Yoga, which was for me a new but absolutely amazing experience. Then Sauna and swimming and refreshing in the creek to a delicious and nutritious lunch to a very calimg and relaxing sound healing meditation. The whole day felt just perfect, calming and perfect to recharge and reconnect with yourself. The accommodation was the perfect addition to the whole experience. I definitely can recommend the weekend escape experience for everyone to slow down at least for a weekend.

About the Instructor

Dave Deakin has been practising yoga since 2012. He has travelled to India, Bali and Thailand and practised with many world-class teachers. Dave did his teacher training in Bali, where he studied Tantra/Hatha, a lineage-based yoga over 2500 years old, not altered for the audience in the modern world.

Meditation is one of the main goals of yoga. The best gauge of your yoga practice is how well your life is going. Are you happy, vibrant, and in good health, mentally, physically and emotionally? This is the science of yoga. Be the best version of yourself to live with infinite possibilities. Yoga is built for optimum well-being, not flexibility.

Dave is also trained in traditional Tibetan Singing Bowls, Ayurveda/ The Science of Life and NLP.
