6 Days and 5 Nights

Signature 6 day 5 night Life Changing Retreat

To reach your peak, you must first discover your depths. When we embrace adversity as our friend, we grow to levels we have never experienced before. Accelerate your personal development with Mt Jukes signature Immersion retreat, a profound and challenging reset for body and mind. Creativity is the product of inner harmony, a delicate homeostasis constantly under siege by the realities of modern life and the false comfort of survivalist habits. These circumstances lead to harmful or misleading self-beliefs that exhaust the body and inhibit authentic self-expression: you feel tired, stuck, directionless, depressed and apathetic.

This impeded state of being requires a seismic shift to undo. Immersion offers the ideal setting and structure to course correct, providing the rare opportunity to completely disengage from your current environment and disrupt self-destructive behaviour or patterns. It weaves a cocoon from which you will re-emerge: recharged, reinvigorated, fully realised, and empowered while being grounded and centred. As part of the program, Mt Jukes Eco Retreat founder Dave Deakin will deliver this program to our retreat guests. Dave's Bio is here. Dave is a firm believer that we become what we cultivate. With this in mind, he will also lead you through wonderfully practical, Lineage-based yoga/meditation sessions, highlighting the fundamental principles of mindfulness as well as techniques to support the development of the mind/body and nervous system connection.

The Immersion programme integrates science-based meditation techniques and Vedic wisdom to offer a holistic menu of experiences guaranteed to trigger and sustain personal growth. Participants can expect a stunning range of yoga, Himalayan breathwork, meditation practices, sound healing, inferred saunas & swimming in a natural spring running through volcanic rocks 32 million years old—interpersonal workshops designed to recalibrate the body and cultivate stillness within the mind and create a creative mindset. What you may not expect is the wonderful intensity of the process and its truly transformative and rewarding results. The 6-day, 5-night journey is suitable for both dedicated beginners and advanced growth seekers alike, no matter your individual fitness level or mindset. If you are ready to step into new found vibrancy and learn to artfully navigate the demands of life on all fronts with clear direction and purpose, you are ready for our signature program.

During your retreat, you can expect:

Silence: Starting the first day in silence can be a powerful way to set a focused, reflective tone for the days ahead. This practice helps to cultivate mindfulness, create space for inner exploration, and foster a sense of calm and clarity. It can be a time for individuals to center themselves, set intentions, and prepare for the days ahead in a peaceful and intentional manner.

1

Inspiring workshops: Throughout the retreat, you will have the opportunity to attend various workshops led by Dave Deakin on personal development and self-empowerment. These sessions will cover topics such as goal setting, mindset shifts, visualisation techniques, and strategies for overcoming challenges.

2

To boost your sense of empowerment and resilience, we use lineage-based yoga, sound healing, yin or restorative yoga that push you beyond your comfort zone and help you tap into your physical and mental strength while feeling grounded and centred.

3

We will cultivate the power of the breath using many pranayama techniques. Centre ourselves in the presence of self-awareness through daily mindfulness and meditation exercises. These practices will help you quiet your mind, reduce stress, and develop a deeper connection with your inner self, build creativity and a deeper sense of the self.

4

Personal reflection time: Throughout the retreat, you will have dedicated personal reflection time to journal, meditate, or simply be alone with your thoughts. This quiet time will allow you to gain insights, process emotions, and deepen your self-awareness while hanging out in one of the hammocks under the mango trees or many other parts of this serine property.

5

Healthy and nourishing Ayurveda meals:  We believe that food is Fuel for your body, mind and soul, with delicious and nutritious, grounding meals that support your overall well-being. Our food artists will prepare flavourful dishes using fresh organic produce from our farm or locally sourced ingredients from local farmers in season, offering a balanced and nourishing culinary experience.

6

At the end of the retreat

we aim for you to emerge with a renewed sense of self, empowered with a clear vision for your future and equipped with practical tools to create positive change in all areas of your life. Prepare to embark on a transformative journey that will empower you to live your life fully and embrace your infinite potential.

Mt Jukes Eco Village is one truly amazing, beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of stunning nature full of wonderful wildlife, tropical fruits, good weather, kind and hard working people, super tasty food (!) and really nice comfortable tiny houses next to a big majestic Jukes mountain. We instantly felt good there, in very high energy and easygoing relaxing vibes. I would happily go back any time to relax, meditate, be humble with others and my authentic self and just enjoy the beauty of nature. Thank you for creating that space, showing your kindness and hosting us so well! One of the best experiences and definitely a place to visit in colourful Queensland! Visited in August ‘23, still thinking about it and the good memories!:)

Thank you Mount Jukes Eco Retreat for an outstanding visit! This break away to reconnect was just what I needed! Friendly and welcoming hosts, beautiful accomodation that takes in the awesome natural surroundings, delicious and deeply nourishing meals. Dave gently guided us through a form of traditional yoga practice that is very rare today, and a sound healing session gave me some profound insights. Walking through the many different fruit trees, I discovered some fruits that I had not seen or tasted before. The sauna session followed by a refreshing swim in the creek was a winner too. Thank you so much Dave and Aune! I will be back again!

About Your Teacher

Dave Deakin has been practising yoga since 2012. He has travelled to India, Bali and Thailand and practised with many world-class teachers. Dave did his teacher training in Bali, where he studied Tantra/Hatha, a lineage-based yoga over 2500 years old, not altered for the audience in the modern world.

"Meditation is one of the main goals of yoga. The best gauge of your yoga practice is how well your life is going. Are you happy, vibrant, and in good health, mentally, physically and emotionally? This is the science of yoga. Be the best version of yourself to live with infinite possibilities. Yoga is built for optimum well-being, not flexibility."

Dave is also trained in traditional Tibetan Singing Bowls, Ayurveda/ The Science of Life, and NLP.
