Township Eungella National Park

Eungella National Park is a popular attraction and is noted for rain forest walking trails and sightings of platypus. There are also a number of lookouts from the escarpment down the valley, including Goodes Lookout in the town and Sky Window Lookout in the national park. Eungella is also known for platypus sightings.  

Near By Walks to do


1. Mt Blackwood is 500 meters away. The road is closed, but it's a bitumen track, and it's 5 km long, with an 800-meter climb. Many walkers do this walk.

2. Cape Hillsborough. Has many walks, one as far as 10km, with a nice view at the top.

3. The Leap, also a nice walk; it's a dirt track only about 2.5km. It is 12 km from Mt Jukes.
