Mt Jukes Eco Retreat is an incredibly special place, located between Mackay and Airlie Beach. A short 10 minute drive you will find yourself at Cape Hillsborough where you can see Kangaroos skipping along the beach, go to Seaforth for the Sunday Markets or pop down to the local organic store. National Park

Here you can watch the Wallabies being feed. On Sunday morning a nice couple normally have their coffee van serving a good quality coffee. There is also walking tracks with nice views at the top.

A pleasant place for a cup of tea and scones or cake. They do wood fired pizza, check on what days.

Woolworths is located here as well as other specialty shops.

Walks to do

01. Mt Blackwood

500 meters away. The road is closed and bitumen, it is 5 km but 1000-meter climb, many walkers do this walk.

02. Cape Hillsborough

Has many walks, one as far as 10km nice view at the top.

03. The Leap

The leap is also a nice walk, it's a dirt track only about 2.5km. It is 12 km from Mt Jukes.
