After three incredible days at Mt. Jukes, I am grateful for the experience. My accommodations were perfectโ€”a cozy wooden cabin surrounded by green mountains. I attended their Mothers day Yoga retreat. Its was a perfect gift! The property is situated in a stunning location surrounded by tranquil nature and includes a flowing stream that runs of Mt Jukes mountain. I highly recommend visiting Mt Jukes Eco Retreat to see what this place stands for and come and enjoy yummiest vegetarian food and homemade chai tea. Once you visit this paradise you don't want to leave!

What can I say this place is fantastic. I had the most wonderful time at the Mothers day Retreat. From the Sauna to the cool refreshing creek, Yoga practice, AMAZING Food, Sound Healing practice. This was one fantastic day. The location, the program, the people, the food. In the hectic lifestyle we lead, this was the perfect way to spend to calm your mind, connect with nature and yourself. Imagine spending time in infrared sauna, sweating out all the toxins, and when you have finished, our natural spring running through 32 million old volcanic rock awaits you. When you have completed your time in spring and are fully refreshed. You will feel brand new.

Morning talks on wellness. We will talk about what Stresses the Body. These are broken down into 3 types of stress, chemical, emotional and physical. You will have tools to take home so you can start working through the process.

Nature walks and outdoor activities: Explore the picturesque surroundings. Breathe in the crisp, refreshing air while immersing yourself in the beauty of the natural environment. Take a leisurely walk through 350 permaculture designed fruit trees or just hanging out in a hammock or on the viewing platform and doing nothing.

Inclusions

  • 3 days/2 nights of twin shared accommodation (single and twin ensuite rooms subject to cost and availability).
  • All meals: gluten free, vegan, and nutritionally balanced
    Unlimited herbal teas from our garden, and fruit.
  •  1 infrared sauna.
  •  Ayurveda detox, morning and night routine. 
  • Swim in our natural spring running through volcanic rocks located on the property.
  • Option of two daily yoga/meditation classes (Linage-based Tantra Hatha / restorative/ sound healing or Yin).
  • 2 Workshop on yoga/meditation, yogic philosophy or wellbeing and nutrition.

About Your Teacher

Dave Deakin has been practising yoga since 2012. He has travelled and practised yoga in India, Bali and Thailand with many world-class teachers. Dave did his teacher training in Bali, where he studied Tantra/Hatha, a lineage-based yoga over 2500 years old, not altered for the audience in the modern world.
