From the moment we arrived I could feel my body start to relax. Hard to sum up in a few words the effect 2 days/nights has had on me. The view, the incredibly comfortable bed, the shower, the bath with the salts laying back in that on the deck with the fire going was amazing! I really want to go on and on and will be to anyone who cares to listen best place ever I feel like a new person and already planning my next stay!

I booked this stay for my partner knowing full well sheโ€™d love it, I myself wasnโ€™t sure what Iโ€™d think of it, however by the end of our stay I can honestly say this was an amazing experience that will stick with my forever! Before arriving I wasnโ€™t sure how Iโ€™d find the food (not being a vegetarian myself) but Auneโ€™s cooking was amazing!! Having left feeling relaxed and refreshed, this is definitely a place Iโ€™d put on my bucket list if I was visiting the Mackay region ๐Ÿ˜Š Photos below are the view from our glamping tent

What a world class place. The glamping tents are spectacular, spacious and very comfortable. Bamboo keeps your privacy for the outdoor bath. Well worth the cost. The outdoor ensuite is well designed and thought through with views to the mountain while showering - and private. The team there are very hospitable, knowledgeable friendly and make the stay very special. We will be back to this transformative, relaxing and special place.

Oh my. This resort is amazing. You canโ€™t look away from the mountains, it is just spectacular. 4 of us ladies went to unwind and reduce our stress levels. We definitely did that. Dave organised us yoga, breath work and sound therapy - all were amazing and highly recommend. We also had a sauna and a dip in the creek and on my it was my favourite part! We went early July and the cold weather was perfect. We stayed in the glamping tents and they are well though out with everything you need including an ensuite. We also had a campfire. Food was amazing and I highly recommend. Dave continually thought about our stay and how to make it amazing and exactly what we wanted. We only wished we stayed longer. We will definitely be back and canโ€™t wait for our next stay.

What they say

Extremely humbling, relaxing and energy boosting experience. For those living in Mackay, this is right on your doorstep. Close enough to be accessible (30 mins from Mackay) but far enough away to disconnect from technology and the day-to-day chaos. We were well looked after with Dave, Aune and puppa Roccoโ€™s hospitality. A true zen den - yoga, sound healing, meditation, fresh swim in the creek, filled with beautiful flavoursome food.

Do yourself a favour and book the weekend escape or even a day trip and try the yoga. ๐Ÿง˜ your body and mind will thank you.

Katie Buffery

Mt Jukes Eco Village is one truly amazing, beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of stunning nature full of wonderful wildlife, tropical fruits, good weather, kind and hard working people, super tasty food (!) and really nice comfortable tiny houses next to a big majestic Jukes mountain and just 30 minutes from Mackay. We instantly felt good there, in very high energy and easygoing relaxing vibes.

I would happily go back any time to relax, meditate, be humble with others and my authentic self and just enjoy the beauty of nature. Thank you for creating that space, showing your kindness and hosting us so well! One of the best experiences and definitely a place to visit in colourful Queensland!

Still thinking about it and the good memories!
